The militia, the yeomanry cavalry, the Indian Civil Service, medical and veterinary officers and even retired officers on pay or pension are also listed. A section on the mobilisation of the army in the UK records where each corps was stationed. This information would also be useful for those trying to locate an event, like a baptism or burial, in a non-commissioned officer's family."
